Last month, musician and debut author Samuel Miller completed a 22-stop national tour in celebration of his YA road trip novel, A Light Too Bright (HarperCollins/Tegen). Miller retraced some of his favorite stops while on previous tours as lead singer of the band Paradise Fears, driving cross-country with his dog and crashing on friends’ couches along the way. The events kicked off on May 7 at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena, Calif., and wrapped up on June 14 at Books Inc. in San Francisco. We’ve gathered a selection of high points from the tour, which included readings, Q&As, musical performances, and more.
