Just Announced: 'I’m Proud of You' by Craig Melvin

HarperCollins Publishers has announced the forthcoming children’s book debut from NBC News’ Today news anchor Craig Melvin.

I’m Proud of You, illustrated by Sawyer Cloud, will publish on May 7, 2024, from Quill Tree Books. The story follows a boy navigating myriad childhood experiences who, with endless vocal support from his father, learns to overcome challenges.

Melvin said in a statement, “What I’m most passionate about is being a father. I'm Proud of You is a celebration of the small things in life, and a book for anybody who has experienced the joys and wonders of parenthood and wants their children to know how amazing and inspiring they are.”

Alexandra Cooper acquired North American rights from Sloan Harris at Creative Artists Agency.
