Adams Literary is adding a new client: British children's packager Hothouse Fiction. Through the agreement, Adams will represent the London-based companies properties in North America, focusing on selling the titles to American publishers.

Hothouse was founded in 2008 and has developed over 35 children's series, for readers ages five and up. The packager has sold titles in more than 20 international markers and its properties range from the early chaoter book Bake a Wish (published by Scholastic UK) to the YA series Darke Academy (published by Hodder in the U.K.). Hothouse's recent series, Monster Republic, was also acquired for film in England, with Random House Children's Screen Entertainment optioning dramatic rights.

Adams will begin selling Hothouse titles in North America immediately, and both Hothouse and Adams will be attending the Bologna Book Fair in March.
