Looking to give another boost to its lending program, the bestselling book series of all time will soon be available in the Kindle Owners' Lending Library. Amazon has purchased an exclusive license from Pottermore to loan all seven Harry Potter titles through the program, through which Prime members receive free two-day shipping on millions of items for a $79 annual fee.

Speaking to the significance of the deal, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said in a statement: "Over a year, borrowing the Harry Potter books, plus a handful of additional titles, can alone be worth more than the $79 cost of Prime or Kindle." Bezos also noted that through a Kindle Owners’ Lending Library feature the company can supply as many e-books to customers as demand warrants with no waiting list. No Potter titles will be for sale in the regular Kindle store.

The Harry Potter books will be available in the KOLL, which now has over 145,000 titles, starting June 19.
