Many children have received Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid books as gifts in recent years, but starting this fall they will be able to write thank-you notes for said gifts using paper products featuring the Wimpy Kid himself. In October, Wimpy Kid journals, notebooks, magnetic pads, and other products will be available in stores. The products were created by Abrams’s Amulet imprint in conjunction with gift and stationery publisher Galison/Mudpuppy, as well as Kinney. A marketing campaign for the new products will launch at BookExpo America; the line will be sold and distributed by Chronicle.
