Sourcebooks has announced that it has signed photographer Anne Geddes for a new line of licensed books and products for its children's and gift groups.

The publisher will develop and distribute new Anne Geddes books, both physical and digital, through booksellers, major retailers, and libraries. Sourcebooks will begin selling existing Geddes e-books immediately; forthcoming products will include a baby journal, a gift book for mothers, and board books.

“I am so pleased and proud to have Sourcebooks as my American publisher,” said Geddes. “To be involved in a company with such a creative and dynamic publishing program, both in print and digital, is such a natural fit. Naturally, I care very deeply regarding the use and protection of my images, and I am totally confident that with the group at Sourcebooks I have found a company that shares my values.”

Sourcebooks also announced that they will create products designed for the Web site and app Put Me in the Story, a children's book platform that creates personalized editions of bestselling children's books.

“Anne is renowned for her iconic, beloved images of children that have touched millions of people, and we are incredibly excited to be working with her and the entire Geddes team,” said Dominique Raccah, CEO and publisher of Sourcebooks.

The first print books will be released next spring, featuring never-before-published photography. The first Put Me in the Story title will be released this October.
