The eighth annual Princeton Children’s Book Festival was held on September 21 at the Princeton Public Library in Princeton, N.J. Eighty-six authors and illustrators gathered on the Alfred E. Hines Plaza adjacent to the library to celebrate the community, books, and the love of reading. Among those in attendance were Ann M. Martin, Paul O. Zelinsky, Raina Telgemeier, Matt Phelan, Michelle Knudsen, and many other children’s book creators. Festival director Allison Santos is already busy planning for next year’s event, which will be held on September 20, 2014; below, some photos from this year’s activities.
