Grosset & Dunlap/Price Stern Sloan has one new hire and two promotions. Shara Hardeson has joined the company as assistant production editor; she was previously editorial assistant at the Horn Book Guide. Laura Stiers has been promoted to production editor; she was previously associate production editor. Genevieve Dominguez has been promoted to associate managing editor; she was previously assistant managing editor.

Erin Stein will join Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group as publisher on December 1. She will head a yet-to-be-named new imprint focusing on branded publishing and new content creation, as well as acquiring original commercial fiction and picture books, and will report to MCPG president and publisher Jon Yaged. Stein was formerly editorial director of branded, licensed, and media tie-in publishing at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, where she worked on Ever After High, Monster High, and My Little Pony, among other properties, and oversaw the Arthur, Matt Christopher, and Tintin programs.

Jessica Echeverria has been promoted to editor at Lee & Low Books. She was formerly associate editor.

Rachel Lodi is joining Penguin Young Readers Group as associate digital publicist; she was previously a marketing assistant at Palgrave Macmillan.

Little, Brown Books for Young Readers has several promotions and a new hire. Mara Lander has been promoted to director of brand and licensed marketing, from associate director, brand marketing. Christina Quintero has been promoted to senior art director, from art director. Mary-Kate Gaudet has been promoted to senior editor, from editor. Rachel Poloski has been promoted to assistant editor, from editorial assistant. And Danielle Yadao will join the company on November 17 as marketing assistant in the school and library marketing group. She was previously a manufacturing coordinator at Scholastic.

Little, Brown Books for Young Readers has several promotions and a new hire. Alvina Ling has been promoted to v-p, editor-in-chief; she was formerly executive editorial director. She will oversee the LBYR publishing program, excluding licensing. Andrea Spooner has been promoted to v-p, editorial director; she was previously editorial director. Pam Gruber has been promoted to senior editor, from editor. Allison Moore has been promoted to associate editor, from assistant editor. And Jennifer McClelland-Smith will join the division as marketing coordinator on November 10; she was formerly an administrative assistant temp for Hachette Book Group.

Klutz has several new hires. Hannah Rogge has joined as director of product development; she previously worked at Ralph Lauren. Caitlin Harpin has joined as senior product editor; she was formerly an associate editor at Potter Craft. Katie Benezra has joined as senior designer; previously she was at becker&mayer! Flora Kim has joined as product editor; previously she was a freelance editor and writer. Barrie Zipkin has joined as assistant managing editor; previously she was a production editor in Scholastic's Classroom Magazines division. Emily Feliberty has joined as marketing manager; previously she was assistant manager, marketing and brand strategy at Toys R Us.

Nathalie Le Du has joined Workman as a senior editor in the children's group. She was most recently an editor at Kumon Workbooks. She will oversee Workman's workbooks and activity books program, including Brain Quest and Star Wars.
