Emma Boyer has joined Zest Books as publicity manager; she was previously publicist at Algonquin.

Sandra Jordan is joining the Nancy Gallt Literary Agency as consultant and first reader for adult and children’s mysteries – all categories except true crime. Audrey Gibbons has been promoted to publicist at Simon and Schuster Children's Publishing. She was formerly associate publicist.

Martha Rago has been named to the newly created position of executive creative director, Random House Children's Books, a move that unites the art departments in the children's division under her leadership. She joined the company in February as creative director, after 12 years at HarperCollins.

Alexandra Maramenides has been named managing director of Simon and Schuster U.K.'s children's publishing division, and will begin in February 2016. Most recently she was with the Bonnier Group, as managing director of the Five Mile Press and Echo Publishing in Australia. She has also worked at Phaidon, the Watts Publishing Group (now part of Hachette) and Simon & Schuster U.K.

DK has three promotions. Jay Franco has been promoted to associate sales director, bookclubs, premium and custom; he was previously manager, special sales. Ana Giovinazzo has been promoted to associate sales manager, digital, premium and custom; she was previously sales coordinator. Kathi Gadow has been promoted to sales coordinator, online and digital sales; she was previously sales assistant.

Sara Sciuto has been promoted to agent at Fuse Literary; she was previously associate agent.

Allison Judd has joined Random House Children's Books as publicist; previously she was publicity assistant with the Crown Publishing Group.

Agent Mandy Hubbard has formed her own agency, called Emerald City Literary Agency; she was previously an agent at D4EO Literary Agency.
