Hayley Wagreich has been promoted to editor at Alloy Entertainment, from associate editor.

At Sourcebooks, Katy Lynch has been promoted to senior publicist for children’s and young adult, from publicist.

Bethany Buck has been named editorial director at Bloomsbury Children’s Books, effective April 17, reporting to Bloomsbury Consumer Publishing publishing director Cindy Loh. Most recently Buck was editorial director of Skyhorse Publishing's children’s imprint; before that she was a literary agent with Sanford J. Greenburger Associates, and v-p and publisher of S&S imprints Simon Pulse and Aladdin. In her new role, she will oversee the children's editorial department, will edit new titles by author Sarah J. Maas, and acquire new books and series across all genres and age ranges.

Casey Nugent has joined Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing as subsidiary rights assistant.

Julia McCarthy has joined Atheneum Books for Young Readers as an editorial assistant. She was previously an editorial assistant at Penguin Group USA.

Margaret Ferguson will join Holiday House as publisher of Margaret Ferguson Books in May. This will be the first eponymous imprint in the company's 82-year history. Ferguson previously headed her own imprint at Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

Rich Thomas has been named v-p and publishing director at HarperCollins, reporting to Kate Jackson. He was most recently associate publisher, editorial director at Disney Publishing Worldwide, and has also held editorial positions at DC Comics and Macmillan General Reference.
