Random House Children’s Books has two promotions. Mary Ellen Owens has been promoted to senior production manager, from production manager. Shameiza Ally has been promoted to associate production manager, from production supervisor.

Mark Podesta has joined Henry Holt Books for Young Readers as editorial assistant; he recently received a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Columbia University.

Abrams has two new hires. Tessa Meischeid has joined the children’s marketing and publicity department in the new role of associate publicist; she was previously an assistant editor at HarperCollins Children’s Books. Lora Grisafi has joined the children’s marketing and publicity department as trade marketing designer, from Random House Children’s Books.

Erin Vandeveer has returned to Abrams in the new role of senior production manager; most recently she was studio manager at St. Martin’s Press, and had been a production associate at Abrams.

Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group has two promotions and two new hires. Ebony Lane has been promoted to senior rights manager, rights and permissions, from rights and permissions manager.​ Catherine Kramer has been promoted to subsidiary rights associate, from subsidiary rights assistant. Jordan Winch and Amanda German are joining the company as marketing assistants. ​

Putnam Books for Young Readers has two promotions. Stacey Barney has been promoted to executive editor; she was formerly senior editor. Kate Meltzer has been promoted to associate editor, from assistant editor.

Kathryn Little has been promoted to director of marketing at Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group; she was previously associate director.

Hannah Babcock has joined Abrams in the newly created position of assistant manager, subsidiary rights; previously she was assistant scout at Baker Literary Scouting. Mercedes Padro has joined Abrams Children’s as assistant designer; she had been an intern at HarperCollins Children’s Books.

Laura Peraza has joined the Children's Book Council as content and design manager; most recently she was social media manager for World Book Night U.S. She replaces Alexa Frank, who has been accepted to the MFA program at the Iowa Writers' Workshop.

Jason M. Wells has joined Rodale as associate publisher, director of marketing and publicity for the Rodale Kids imprint. He had been executive director of publicity and marketing at Abrams Books for Young Readers, working on campaigns for Jeff Kinney, Tom Angleberger, Cece Bell, Andrea Beaty, Laura Numeroff, Michael Buckley, Mac Barnett, Tonya Bolden, Duncan Tonatiuh, and Lauren Myracle, among many others.

Herits was most recently director of marketing and publicity at Workman. Jillian Vandall has been promoted to senior publicity manager, from manager. Chronicle Children's Books has one promotion and one new hire. Taylor Norman has been promoted to editor, from associate editor. Jamie Real has joined as assistant managing editor; she was previously managing director at Litquake.

Kelly McGauley has been promoted to senior marketing manager, trade marketing, from marketing manager. Mallory Matney has been promoted to associate manager, marketing operations and consumer show; she was formerly assistant manager, marketing operations. Alissa Nigro has been promoted to marketing associate, trade marketing, from marketing coordinator.
