Emily van Beek has been named a partner at Folio Literary Management. She heads Folio Jr., the agency's children and teen division specializing in children's, middle grade, and YA books, representing both authors and illustrators; she has been with Folio since 2010.

Heather Alexander has joined Audible as executive editor, kids' original content; previously she headed her own company, Heather Alexander Editorial, and before that was a literary agent at Pippin Properties.

Lerner Publishing Group has two promotions. Carol Hinz has been named editorial director of Millbrook Press and Carolrhoda Books; she was previously editorial director of Millbrook Press. Amy Fitzgerald has been promoted to senior editor, from editor.

Allegra Green has joined Macmillan Children's Book Group as associate marketing manager; previously she was assistant manager for brand and licensed marketing at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers.

Lindsay Davis Auld has joined Writers House as a junior agent, based in London. She was previously with Writers House from 2006 through 2009, and most recently was a freelance editor.

John Sellers has been named publicity director for HMH Books for Young Readers, beginning January 29. He has been the children's reviews editor at Publishers Weekly since 2009.

Sarah Dotts Barley has been promoted to editorial director, young adult, at Flatiron Books; she was previously executive editor.

Bonnier Publishing USA has two new hires. Tim Murray has joined as v-p of sales; he was previously senior v-p of business development and sales at BookShout. Nadia Almahdi has joined as marketing manager for Little Bee Books and Sizzle Press; she was previously marketing manager at Bookspan.

Alexandria Campbell has joined Simon and Schuster Children's Publishing as production assistant.

Most recently she was senior editor at HarperCollins Children’s Books where she acquired and edited YA and middle grade fiction, and before that was an editor at Alloy Entertainment and Simon Pulse. Authors she has worked with include Katharine McGee, Carrie Arcos, Claudia Gray, and Colleen Oakes.
