Entangled Publishing has announced a new children’s imprint, called Little Lark, launching this fall.

Little Lark, with titles for children up to age eight, hopes to “fill a needed gap for parents and educators” according to Stacy Abrams, editorial director of Entangled Teen, Amara Print, and now Little Lark. The imprint’s selections will reflect its publisher’s brand as one of the largest women-owned independent publishers and will center female characters using world exploration to learn more about themselves.

“We’re thrilled to be launching an imprint… that will fill a needed gap for parents and educators by focusing on books that empower young girls while encouraging social change.” Abrams said in a statement.

The imprint’s inaugural debut is I Love Everything About Me by Fatima Scipio and Paige Mason, which follows a girl’s adventures as she celebrates self-love and acceptance. The book is scheduled for fall 2023.

Future lists will include board books and picture books, with one book published per quarter starting in late 2023.
