Lerner Publishing Group has announced a partnership with educational nonprofit Benetech that will provide access to all Lerner ebook titles to children in the U.S. with reading disabilities.

More than 7,000 titles across Lerner’s catalog will be available through Bookshare, an online library of ebooks created for people with with dyslexia, blindness, cerebral palsy, and other reading challenges. Founded in 2001 by Jim Fruchterman, Bookshare allows readers to customize their reading experience through books offered in several different formats, including large font, audiobooks, Braille, and more.

“We are thrilled that Lerner’s entire catalog of picture books, nonfiction, YA and middle grade novels, graphic novels, and series will now be accessible to all readers,” Adam Lerner, publisher and CEO of Lerner Publishing Group, said in a press release. “At Lerner we believe that learning is a constant process and our new partnership with Bookshare will allow a larger reading audience to engage with our books.”
