Amandeep Kochar, president and CEO of Baker & Taylor, has announced an addition to Paw Prints Publishing, the company’s children’s publishing program that launched last year. Paw Prints Readers, an imprint aimed at readers ages four through seven, will release its first set of books this fall.

Paw Prints Readers will publish seven titles across two new series and one previously established series, under a four-leveled program that encourages evolving reading skills. In keeping with the publisher’s overarching mission, Paw Print Readers will highlight the importance of diversity in its coming works.

“We’re thrilled to now showcase these series under their own beginning reader imprint, which we are confident will become a go-to brand for librarians and teachers,” Kochar said in a press release.

On the first list will be the first two books of in Dumond and Christina Oyebade’s Liline & Pepper series for level 1 and 2 readers; three additions to Amandeep Kochar’s previously established series Jeet & Fudge for level 2 readers; and two books in Mari Bolte’s Queens of STEAM series for level 4 readers.

All titles will be published in both English and Spanish in paperback, hardcover, and ebook editions.
