Bringing together the online presence of both Penguin and Random House for the first time, a unified Penguin Random House website launched today. Designed by the PRH in-house design team, PenguinRandomHouse.com is optimized for mobile devices, with links to buy books directly. The site also offers a wealth of information for readers, as well as access to services for PRH authors.

The site offers immediate access to the entire PRH catalog, with links to books, authors and to the Perch, the PRH blog. There are also links to upcoming titles and bestseller lists, as well as access to a “content warehouse,” a feature that connects related content for books and authors. Through the site, users can also sign up for a consumer newsletter that offers book recommendations and information on author events.

Describing the new site as “consumer-focused,” PRH CEO Markus Dohle described Penguinrandomhouse.com as “the digital face of our company.” He added: "In this increasingly reader-oriented market landscape, our digital presence is an important part of strengthening this connection that we are building: one author, one book, and one reader at a time."
