As PW reported on Friday, the National Endowment for the Arts is awarding 863 grants totaling $22.5 million to organizations and individual writers across the country. Two of those individual writers are siblings: Benjamin Percy and Jennifer Percy. According to the NEA, this is the first time siblings have both won grants in the same year. Benjamin, a Whiting Award and Plimpton Prize-winner, has just sold the rights for his next novel, Red Moon, to Helen Atsma, senior editor at Grand Central. Jennifer's upcoming nonfiction book, Demon Camp, will be published by Scribner.
