Looking to take advantage of the popularity of the A&E television show Duck Dynasty, Books-A-Million is creating Duck Commander displays in all of its stores. BAM! outlets will be selling more than 40 items related to Duck Commander--the family company that is the subject of Duck Dynasty--including duck calls, DVDs, books, t-shirts, hats, and novelties.
BAM! said it developed the plan for the in-store shop after it noticed an increased popularity in Duck Commander books, t-shirts, and other merchandise. “We saw a tremendous amount of interest in all things Duck during the holiday selling season,” said Jeff Skipper, v-p of marketing. “Our team made the decision to create a custom, in-store display so that we could give our customers a one-stop-shop for all their favorite Duck Commander gear.”
The displays are expected to be in all BAM! locations before Duck Dynasty returns for a third season on February 27.
