Now in its second year, The Roger Smith Cookbook Conference is taking place February 7-9, 2013 at the Roger Smith Hotel in NYC. Bringing together luminaries from the culinary world, including Molly O’Neill, Amanda Hesser, Rozanne Gold, Grace Young, Barbara Haber, Arthur Schwartz and more, the conference looks to explore many of the issues surrounding the past, present and future of cookbooks and recipe content. Panels include discussions on the use of apps and enhanced content in the kitchen, how recipes influence (and are influenced by) our culture, identifying trends in food to help better our recipe creation process, the importance of writing cookbooks for kids, and issues of copyright and recipe ownership.
