Paul Crichton has been promoted to v-p, director of publicity for the Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing Division. Crichton was formerly the director of publicity, a position he started in 2006.
A number of promotions, and hires, at Workman this week: Raquel Jaramillo has been promoted to both editorial director and creative director of children’s publishing, and she is also acting creative director for the overall Workman imprint. Tae Wong Yi has been named a designer in the children's books department. Maggie Gleason has been joined the publicity department as assistant to executive director of publicity Selina Meere. And Lauren Reedy, who arrives from Tarcher, has been named a publicist.
