Yale University Press has promoted Alden Ferro from associate publicist to publicist.

Penguin Young Readers has made the following hires:

Nico Medina has joined the Grosset & Dunlap/PSS! team as senior managing editor. Medina previously worked for 4 years with Viking and Puffin. He returns to the Penguin Young Readers Group from a post as Managing Editor for Egmont USA, where in fall 2009, he successfully launched the imprint with 15 original titles. Medina is also the author of The Straight Road to Kylie, a NYPL Book for the Teen Age and a YALSA Popular Paperback for Young Adults.

Bonnie Bader assumes the role of editor-in-chief, Warne and Early Readers. Over the past year, Bader led the way in creating the Penguin Young Readers program. In her new role, Bonnie will oversee this category development and oversee Warne, including Peter Rabbit, Flower Fairies and Spot.

Gillian Levinson has been promoted to assistant editor at Razorbill, Penguin Young Readers Group. Levinson joined Razorbill in July 2009 as an editorial assistant. Since then, she has co-edited the New York Times bestseller Across the Universe and its sequel A Million Suns.
