Last night, 60 Minutes profiled Alan Greenspan, whose The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World (Penguin, $35; Penguin Audio unabridged CD, $44.95; abridged, $34.95), pubs today.

Today on Good Morning America, Dr. Aubrey DeGrey predicted Ending Aging: The Rejuvenation Breakthroughs That Could Reverse Human Aging in Our Lifetime (St. Martin’s, $26.95).

Diane Rehm chatted with Nancy Horan, whose first novel is Loving Frank (Ballantine, $23.95; Brilliance Audio unabridged CD, $38.95; abridged $26.95), which PW explained “is a fictionalization of the life of Mamah Borthwick Cheney, best known as the woman who wrecked Frank Lloyd Wright's first marriage. Despite the title, this is not a romance, but a portrayal of an independent, educated woman at odds with the restrictions of the early 20th century. This spirited novel brings Mamah the attention she deserves as an intellectual and feminist.”

The Bob Edwards Show re-aired an interview with MacArthur Genius grant recipient George Saunders about his first nonfiction collection, The Braindead Megaphone (Riverhead, $14). PW wrote “Despite a few rough spots, these essays contain much to delight.”

Tonight on Tavis Smiley, Pulitzer Prize—winning New York Times correspondent Tim Weiner revisits Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA (Doubleday, $27.95; Blackstone Audio unabridged CD, $34.95). PW starred its review, which deemed the book “a credible and damning indictment of American intelligence policy.”
