As a record-breaking audience of 106 million viewers finished watching the New Orleans Saints' come-from-behind 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Sunday evening’s Super Bowl, the Triumph Books team put the final touches on their latest publication, Marching In: The World Champion New Orleans Saints, with the goal of having the book on store shelves by this coming weekend. By Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 9, Triumph, the Chicago-based imprint of Random House renowned for churning out full-color commemorative sports books on short notice, had drop-shipped more than 30,000 copies of the book, primarily to accounts in the Southeast, but also to a sprinkling of stores elsewhere. The sports publisher is going back to press Feb. 11 for 15,000 more copies.

Mitch Rogatz, Triumph’s publisher, is confident that sales will be strong for Marching In. “The high viewership of the game outside the region is an indicator that the average NFL football fan is intrigued by the Saints,” he said.“And the percentage of viewers per capita was through the roof in the Southeast.”
