Barnes & Noble has announced partnerships with Dixons Retail, Sainsbury's, and Waitrose, expanding the reach of its Nook products in the U.K. Dixons is the owner of electronic retailers PC World and Currys and has over 600 outets. The Sainsbury's partnership will see Nook products carried in over 270 stores, while Waitrose is a large supermarket chain in the U.K. The new deals bring the number of outlets that will carry Nook devices in the U.S. to almost 2,000.
