With its offices at Bellevue Hospital “locked down” because of problems caused by Hurricane Sandy, Bellevue Literary Press has moved to temporary quarters in the offices of its distributor, Perseus Books Group. Perseus CEO David Steinberger made the offer to BLP after he heard the press was without office space. BLP publisher Erika Goldman said she does not know when the indie press will be able to return to its Bellevue home. “Thanks to David Steinberger and the folks at Perseus who’ve given us a port in the storm, we can keep our team together,” Goldman said.

Perseus moved to new offices earlier this year, giving it some room to spare for BLP. While Goldman sorts through various communications issues, she said the best way to reach her or other staff members is by e-mail at their regular e-mail addresses (in Goldman’s case, erika.goldman@nyumc.org).
