AmazonCrossing, the literary translation imprint of Amazon Publishing, announced plans to publish English translations of Brazilian authors' work through 2015. The announcement follows Brazil’s participation as Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair last week.

The program launches later this year with the Kindle publication of short stories by Cristovão Tezza, translator and writer Paloma Vidal, feminist author Ivana Arruda Leite, and novelist and short story writer Ana Paula Maia. Stories by prizewinning writers Tércia Montenegro and Claudia Lage will be published in 2014.
