Zondervan has acquired a memoir by the wife of the gunman in the 2006 Nickel Mines Amish schoolhouse shooting. One Light Still Shines: My Life Beyond the Shadow of the Amish Schoolhouse Shooting by Marie Roberts Monville will release October 1, 2013. Monville recounts the horror and shock of dealing with her husband’s tragic act and the faith in God that sustained her in the aftermath. The book was acquired for Zondervan by Sandra Vander Zicht and was agented by Wes Yoder of Ambassador Agency. A national marketing and publicity campaign is planned.

InterVarsity Press’s Pursuing God’s Will Together: A Discernment Practice for Leadership Groups (InterVarsity Press/Formatio) by Ruth Haley Barton has been selected to receive a 2012 Leadership Book Award in the category of The Leader’s Outer Life. Leadership Journal editors and contributing editors selected the book for their list of "Ten Books That Are Too Good to Miss."
