Eerdmans Signs Two New Testament Scholars

Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co. tapped two leading New Testament scholars—Mark Goodacre and Todd D. Still—to be the new co-editors of its New International Greek Testament Commentary (NIGTC) series. First published in 1978, the NIGTC series is an important resource for New Testament scholars, pastors, and students that offers exegesis based on the original Greek.

Goodacre is the professor of New Testament and Christian Origins at Duke University, while Still is the Charles J. and Eleanor McLerran DeLancey Dean and William M. Hinson Professor of Christian Scriptures at Baylor University’s Truett Theological Seminary. The pair will work closely with Eerdmans New Testament editor Trevor Thompson and the Eerdmans editorial team to update the series guidelines, supply missing volumes, and update or replace older volumes.
