Simons Named Senior Editor at a Revived Free Press

Natasha Simons has been promoted to senior editor at Simon & Schuster's revitalized Free Press imprint. Simons joined S&S in 2011 as an editorial assistant, and has since worked on a number of bestsellers, including Omarosa Manigault Newman’s Unhinged. Free Press was merged into the Simon & Schuster imprint in 2012, but recently began acquiring new books, including the bestselling Everything Trump Touches Dies by Rick Wilson, published in early August under the Free Press imprimatur. Simons will be "devoted full-time to building this list, while also contributing to Simon & Schuster’s general list", Jonathan Karp, president and publisher of S&S's adult publishing group, said in a statement.
