Humble Bundle, ACLU Offer Get Out the Vote Charity Bundle

Humble Bundle, the pay what you want online promotional site, is teaming with the ACLU to offer The Humble Charity Book Bundle: Get the Vote Out 100% supporting the ACLU, a collection of comics and prose digital content focused on political activism, positive resistance and dystopian science fiction.

The Humble Charity Book Bundle: Get the Vote Out 100% supporting the ACLU will run from October 22 through November 5. All proceeds from the Humble Bundle Charity Book Bundle will go the American Civil Liberties Union.

The Humble Bundle will also feature RESIST!: Tales From a Future Worth Fighting Against, an anthology of 27 stories by range of science fiction writers focused on the current social-political period. The anthology is edited by Gary Whitta; authors in the RESIST! Anthology include Hugh Howey, Sarah Kuhn, John Scalzi, Daniel Wilson, Beth Revis, and Laura Hudson.

The new Humble Bundle also includes novels, comics, and nonfiction works. Fans can pay $1', $8, $15 or more and designate a portion of their contribution to a charity.

Publishers participating in the bundle include Microscosm Publishing, DC Comics, Quirk, Image Comics, Oni Press, Skyhorse, Tachyon and others.

ACLU director of strategic partnerships Danielle Silber, praised the writers and illustrators working to support the ACLU: “Through their art they are advancing democracy and helping us to make dystopia a fiction. We appreciate their and Humble Bundle’s efforts to bolster voter education to ensure everyone votes like their rights depend on it.”
