Griswold, Howe, Jones Win 2015 PEN Literary Awards

PEN American Center today announced the winners for the 2015 PEN Literary Awards. Among the recipients are Eliza Griswold, for the PEN Translation Prize for I Am the Beggar of the World (Farrar, Straus and Giroux); Tina Howe, named master American dramatist; and Saeed Jones, who will be recognized for his collection of debut poetry, Prelude to Bruise (Coffee House Press).

All award recipients will be honored at the 2015 PEN Literary Awards ceremony on June 8 in New York City. The winners of three awards—the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize for Debut Fiction, the PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award for the Art of the Essay, and the PEN Open Book Award—will not be revealed until the final event.
