Linda Grant Wins 2020 Wingate Prize

Linda Grant, author of A Stranger City (Virago, 2019), has been named the the winner of the 2020 Wingate Literary Prize, valued at roughly $4,900 (£4,000). The prize runs in association with JW3, and recognizes the best book, fiction or non-fiction, to translate the idea of Jewishness to the general reader. 

Past winners of the U.K. literary prize include Amos Oz, Zadie Smith, Oliver Sacks, Otto Dov Kulka, and David Grossman.
