Mayo Clinic Press Names Wiener Editor-in-Chief

Publishing industry veteran Nina Wiener has been named editor-in-chief of the Mayo Clinic Press, the first person to be named to the newly created position. Wiener will guide the press’ evolution from a publisher of consumer health guides to a multi-platform publishing house. While the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minn., has published reference books about health for years, it formally launched a publishing imprint in 2019.

Wiener previously was managing editor at Taschen, and also served as the editor of Taschen's literary series, reissuing classic nonfiction by such authors as James Baldwin, Norman Mailer, and Tom Wolfe, as well as monographs by the artists Walton Ford and Peter Beard.
