'LARB' Announces 'Semipublic Intellectual Sessions' Conversation Series

As part of its 10-year anniversary celebration, the Los Angeles Review of Books (LARB) has announced its Semipublic Intellectual Sessions, a month-long conversation series to be held online every Thursday from October 7 to November 4.

Speakers will include Daphne Brooks, Andrea Long Chu, Lauren Michele Jackson, Christine Smallwood, Anna Wiener, and others. Each panel will run for 90 minutes and feature a discussion among participants followed by a Q&A with attendees.

The series is a fundraiser for LARB, a reader-supported nonprofit. The events are open to the public, and LARB invites attendees to make donations for each event to help support the work of its staff, editors, and contributors.
