TikTok, B&N Launch #BookTokChallenge

TikTok has partnered with Barnes & Noble on a new summer reading promotion, the #BookTokChallenge. Through August 31, TikTok creators can post to the platform "encouraging people to discover and read new books and authors and then share their reactions with the TikTok community." A handful of prominent BookTok influencers—@aymansbooks@bookpapi@kendra.reads@kevintnorman@maistorybook, and @thebooksiveloved—have partnered with the two companies on the project.

At Barnes & Noble, a new BookTok hub will feature details about the promotion, B&N's TikTok reading list, and videos from TikTok creators. The hub will also be accessible via the TikTok app. 614 Barnes & Nobles stores nationwide will be provided with TikTok-branded signage they can choose to feature in store displays. In-store signage will include a QR that directs visitors to the hub.
