‘Hunger Games’ Stage Play to Open in London

Lionsgate has announced that the Hunger Games stage show will open in London on October 20 at the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, a new space that has been custom designed for the play. The creative team includes Olivier Award-winning playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster. Tickets are on sale now.

Suzanne Collins’s Hunger Games series includes four novels that have sold more than 100 million copies globally and have been translated into 52 languages. The books were previously adapted to the screen, with the film franchise grossing more than $3.4 billion at the worldwide box office. A new book, Sunrise on the Reaping, is forthcoming on March 18, and a movie will be released from Lionsgate on November 20, 2026.
