Binc Announces End-of-Year Fundraiser
The Book Industry Charitable Foundation (Binc) announced on Friday that it is kickstarting an end-of-the-year campaign to raise $50,000 to, the organization stated in a release, “ensure that every book and comic person gets the help they need.” Binc disclosed that the average financial assistance grant in 2025 has risen by $274, or nearly 12%, over previous years, to $2,333. “Costs are rising, and the need is too,” Binc stated, “Every gift, no matter the size, will push Binc closer to its $200,000 year end campaign goal.” Any donation up to a total of $6,000 will be doubled, and Libro.fm is extending its offer of audiobook credits to Binc donors through December 31, 2025: donate $50+ and receive one audiobook credit; donate $100+ and receive two audiobook credits, donate $250+ and receive three audiobook credits.
