Folio Names Ex-PRH Exec to Lead Acquisitions

Jane Kirby, former rights director at Penguin Random House UK, is joining the Folio Society as Head of Acquisitions. This new role will see Kirby acquiring titles for Folio's publishing program, which offers collectible, hardcover reprints of classic and contemporary literature from around the world.

Formerly catering almost exclusively to the U.K. market, since 2000 Folio has made significant inroads into the U.S. market, tripling its customer base, and posting 13% sales growth in 2025. Today, the U.S. accounts for nearly half of Folio's turnover, which was up 8% to £16.8 million ($20.5 million) in 2025.
