The panel, entitled Diversity and Pay Equity in Publishing: The Importance of Industry Surveys and Activism, will explore the make-up of the publishing industry workforce, the importance of representation in book reviews, and the need for diverse authors.

Panelists include: Amy King of VIDA; Jamia Wilson of Women, Action & the Media; Publishers Weekly editorial director Jim Milliot; Preeti Chhibber, senior editorial manager for teens and Scholastic's BookBeat; and Sona Charaipotra, co-founder of CAKE Literary.
