What's in a name? Ask longtime Columbus Dispatch book reviewer and former National Book Critics Circle board member George Myers Jr. Apparently, George magazine publisher JFK Jr. and his lawyers believe that the name of Myers's amusing and irreverent literary and entertainment Web site, GeorgeJr. (http://www. georgejr.com/) is an infringement on the glitzy magazine's trademark, and have issued the usual threats to Myers to cease using his father's name. A Web Watch query on Yahoo! turned up more than 500 variations on this theme, but George lawyer Lawrence Shire declined to comment to PW on this proliferation. Anyway, Myers has gone to a Columbus, Ohio, court to expedite a judgment on his right to use his own name. George magazine's Web site is located at http:// www.georgemag.com/
