In 1994, the board of LOGOS, the Journal of the World Book Community, decided to choose the 100 most influential books of the 20th Century. Copies of all of them (the list was made after comparing a number of other lists) are on display at Frankfurt, except one -- Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler, which is banned in Germany. In some cases, photocopies of the covers had to be used because the books were out of print and existing copies too pricey in antique bookstores, according to Gordon Graham, editor and publisher of LOGOS.
