That was the title of the first book by Jim Rogers, who helped create the Quantum Fund with financier George Soros and who in that 1994 title combined tales of his adventures with observations on the world of finance and politics. Now he's been off on his travels again, this time journeying around the world for three years (and visiting 116 countries) in a custom-built Mercedes convertible, and the results of his new exploits will appear in Adventure Capitalist, which Random v-p and senior editor Jonathan Karp has just signed for world rights from agent Wayne Kabak at William Morris. He is, says Karp, "a natural storyteller." The book will publish in 2003 or 2004.
