Another seven-figure deal, this time a "major" one, was done between HarperCollins executive editor Dan Conaway and agent Jean Naggar for two new novels by defense lawyer turned novelist Philip Margolin, even before his next book under the last contract, Sleeping Beauty, is out next summer. The two new ones are untitled and unwritten. Meanwhile, other Margolin action includes an agreement for Harper to pick up paperback rights to three earlier titles published by Bantam: his first big bestseller, Gone but Not Forgotten, and The Last Innocent Man and Heartstone. In Hollywood action, UTA has made deals for Gone but Not Forgotten and Wild Justice.
