Oyster Adds E-book Retail

E-book subscription service Oyster will begin offering e-books for sale, including titles from all the Big Five publishers. Consumers can now subscribe to the service for $9.95 per month or purchase titles individually via the Oyster app and website. Non-subscribers can purchase e-books as well. The site will offer more than one million e-books for sale.

Chronicle Books in Japan

Chronicle Books is teaming with Tsutaya Mega Bookstores, one of Japan’s largest book chains, to open 25 Chronicle Books Japan boutiques in Tsutaya stores.
