It’s officially holiday gift-giving time. Print book sales are up 12% this week over last, with Elf on the Shelf books leading the charge for young readers (for more on that, see Bestsellers, p. 13) and a mix of old and new titles raking in big numbers on the adult side during Black Friday week. Here’s a look at some of the week’s top movers and shakers for adults, and the early front-runners for the holiday season.
