Design Note #1: While I wanted a cowboy couple on the cover to push the romance angle, the title indicates some hesitation on the part of the characters, so I kept the man and woman separated.
Design Note #2: Using a darker, eye-catching color scheme sets a dramatic backdrop for this cowboy romance.
Design Note #3: Keeping an author’s name larger than the title puts the focus on the author’s brand, giving the sense that there are more books by this writer to be discovered and read.
Design Note #4: Font choice is everything. The title font immediately shows the reader that this story is going to be a fun, happy read.
