Follett continues to expand the number of e-books it distributes to the school library market. In its newest agreement, the company said it will begin distributing e-books from Hachette’s Little, Brown Books for Young Readers group. The titles will be made available through Titlewave, Follett’s collection development, search and ordering tool.

The HBG agreement follows a deal Follett signed with Random House earlier this summer to distribute children’s e-book editions to schools. "Our goal is to have authors' work available to schools and students as technologies and reading habits evolve, and this partnership with Follett helps us in this effort," said Evan Schnittman, HBG's executive v-p, chief marketing and sales officer.
