Eclectic Publisher Herman Graf Dies at 91
After a stint with McGraw-Hill and Doubleday in the 1960s, Graf became deeply involved in the independent press movement and co-owned the indie publisher Carroll & Graf from 1982 to 1999. He ended his career as an acquiring editor and consultant at Skyhorse Publishing.

Terry spent nearly six decades representing Christian publishers to booksellers, beginning his career in 1964 as a sales representative for Thomas Nelson and going on to found the Noble Marketing Group in 2001. He retired last year.

Shapiro, IP children's editorial group manager at Sourcebooks and founding editorial director of the company's Wonderland imprint, died unexpectedly of undisclosed causes this past weekend. The company's top executives paid tribute to her on Wednesday.

Tom Woll worked at Wiley, Storey Communications, and Rodale before forming Cross River Publishing Consultants in 1993. His book 'Publishing for Profit' went through five editions and was translated into 10 languages.
