Demetria Togeas, the manager of Vroman’s Hastings Ranch store in Pasadena, Calif., passed away March 14 after a long battle with cancer. Demetria had worked for Vroman’s since 2002. According to a statement from Vroman's, Togeas leaves behind "her son Justin, her cat Goggles, and a big bookseller family who will miss her dearly."
