PW reviews editor David Varno's Editors' Picks panel brought eight book editors together to put the spotlight on their big fall literary titles.
The fiction titles, all of which were selected by PW, were: Beautiful World, Where Are You by Sally Rooney (FSG); L.A. Weather by María Amparo Escandón (Flatiron); Matrix by Lauren Groff (Riverhead); My Monticello by Jocelyn Nicole Johnson (Holt); Our Country Friends by Gary Shteyngart (Random House); Sankofa by Chibundu Onuzo (Catapult); Still Life by Sarah Winman (Putnam); and The War for Gloria by Atticus Lish (Knopf).
